01. Sizing & Fit
How does HACOY sizing run?
Our sizing is true to European standards. We design for a "Comfortable Elegance" fit, which means slightly relaxed but tailored. If you prefer a tight, athletic fit, size down. If you want the signature "flow" look, stick to your regular size.
Where can I find the size chart?
On every product page, right above the size selector. You will find detailed measurements in cm.
I am tall (190cm+). Will the Linen Shirt fit?
Yes, our cuts are elongated to prevent "untucking" when you move. Perfect for tall silhouettes.
Do the pants have stretch?
Our Linen pants have a natural give, and our Sportswear has 4-way stretch Lycra.
02. Shipping & Returns
How fast is shipping to Munich/Germany?
We ship via DHL GoGreen. Standard delivery is 1-3 business days within Germany.
Do you ship to the US/UK?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Delivery typically takes 5-10 days.
What is the return policy?
You have 30 days to return any unworn item with tags attached. We want you to be 100% happy with your uniform.
How do I make a return?
Email us with your order number. We will send you the instructions and label.
Can I pick up my order in Munich?
Absolutely. Select "Pick Up" at checkout. You can collect your order at our showroom: Maistraße 21, 80337 Munich. We will notify you when it's ready.
03. Product Care
Does the Linen wrinkle?
Yes, it’s natural. We recommend steaming it for a crisp look, or wearing it natural for a "Sprezzatura" vibe. Wrinkles are a sign of high-quality natural fiber.
Can I wash the Silk Boxers in the machine?
Delicate cycle (30°C) only. Use a laundry bag to protect the fabric.
Will the Swimwear fade in chlorine?
Our Italian fabrics are resistant, but we recommend rinsing with fresh water after every swim to prolong the life of the Lycra.
Are the clothes pre-shrunk?
Yes. We pre-wash our fabrics to ensure the fit you try on is the fit you keep.
04. Payments & Service
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal, Credit Card (Visa/Mastercard), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, and Shop Pay.
Do you offer Gift Cards?
Yes, digital gift cards are delivered instantly via email. Perfect for last-minute gifts. You can buy them here.
I entered the wrong address. Can I change it?
Please email us immediately (within 1 hour). If the order hasn't shipped, we can fix it.
Where is my tracking number?
You will receive an automated email with the DHL tracking link as soon as your package leaves our Munich warehouse.
Where is the Munich Showroom?
We are located at Maistraße 21, 80337 München (Isarvorstadt). Visits are by appointment or for order pickup.
05. Specific Product Details
Is the waistband on the Sport Leggings tight?
No. We use a "Soft-Touch" waistband construction that provides support without digging into your skin. It is designed for all-day wear, not just the gym.
Are the Swim Shorts suitable for the pool and the ocean?
Yes. The Italian Polyamide is resistant to both chlorine and saltwater. Just remember to rinse them with fresh water afterwards.
Can I wear the Silk Boxers to sleep?
Yes, many of our customers use them exclusively as sleepwear due to the thermoregulating properties of silk.
Do you sell separate tops and bottoms for bikinis?
Yes! You can mix and match sizes (e.g., Medium Top, Small Bottom) to get the perfect fit for your body shape.
Is the White Linen shirt transparent?
It is semi-opaque. Like all high-quality white linen, you can see a silhouette if wearing dark underwear, but it is not "see-through." We recommend wearing skin-tone underwear or going natural.
06. Sustainability & Values
Is your packaging plastic-free?
Yes. We use FSC-certified cardboard boxes and paper-based tape. We do not use single-use plastic polybags.
What does OEKO-TEX certified mean?
It means every thread, button, and fabric in our garment has been tested for harmful substances and is 100% safe for human health.
Is your production Carbon Neutral?
We focus on reduction first, offsetting second. By sourcing 90% of our materials within Europe and using ground transport (trucks) instead of air freight, our carbon footprint is significantly lower than industry standard. We are currently auditing our exact CO2 per garment to become fully transparent.
What happens to unsold clothes (Deadstock)?
We produce in small, limited batches to match demand and avoid overproduction. If items remain unsold, we archive them for future "Archive Sales" or upcycle the fabric. We never burn or destroy unsold inventory.
Are your dyes eco-friendly?
Yes. All our fabrics (Linen, Silk, Lycra) are dyed in certified Italian and Lithuanian dye houses that adhere to strict EU regulations on wastewater treatment and chemical usage. No toxic heavy metals.
Do you support any charities?
We believe in structural change over one-off donations. Our primary impact is economic: paying fair, living wages to European artisans. However, we occasionally partner with local Munich initiatives for specific campaigns.
Why do you use plastic bottles in your swimwear?
We don't. While some brands use "recycled plastic bottles" (rPET), we use high-grade Polyamide and Lycra for durability. Microplastic shedding is a concern with all synthetics, which is why we recommend using a washing bag (Guppyfriend) to catch fibers.
07. Gifting
Does the invoice show the price? (I am sending a gift)
Our packing slips do not show prices, so you can send HACOY directly to the recipient.
Can I add a personal note to my order?
Currently, we cannot print custom notes on the packing slip, but the unboxing experience is premium enough to stand on its own.
08. B2B / Wholesale
Do you offer bulk discounts for teams?
Yes. If you want to outfit your startup team or event with HACOY uniforms, please contact us for our B2B rates.
Can I add a personal note to my order?
Currently, we cannot print custom notes on the packing slip, but the unboxing experience is premium enough to stand on its own.
I am an Interior Designer / Hotel. Do you do trade accounts?
Yes. If you are looking to outfit a boutique hotel staff or source uniforms for a luxury project, we offer trade pricing. Please contact us with your project details.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for wholesale?
We keep it accessible. Our standard opening order is €750. Reorders have a lower threshold of €300 to help you restock bestsellers quickly.
Do you offer "Private Label" production?
No. We are a brand, not a factory. We only sell HACOY branded products. However, for large corporate partners (50+ units), we can offer co-branding (e.g., your company logo embroidered alongside ours).
Where can I see the collection in person before buying?
You can visit our Munich Showroom by appointment. Alternatively, we can send you a "Fabric Swatch Kit" and a digital Lookbook so you can feel the quality remotely.
Do you provide marketing materials for retailers?
Absolutely. All retail partners get access to our high-resolution Image Bank (Campaign & E-com shots), Social Media assets, and a "Brand Training PDF" for your sales staff to explain the comfortable elegance concept to customers.
09. About HACOY & The Founder
Who owns HACOY?
HACOY is 100% independent and founder-led by Maximilian Rupp. We have no outside investors or VC funding, which allows us to make decisions based on quality, not quarterly profits.
What does the name HACOY mean?
It represents a personal philosophy of "Happiness, Comfort, and Joy". It is the code for a life lived with intention.
How is your clothing "Technical" if it's natural?
We believe nature is the best technology. Linen is the original "performance fabric" (wicking, cooling). Silk is the original "thermoregulator." We simply engineer the cuts to maximize these natural properties for the modern worker.
Can I visit the Munich office to just say hi?
We love our community, but we are a small team often in deep work mode. Please book an appointment via email so we can dedicate time to you properly.
Do you have a physical store in other cities?
Not yet. We focus on our online flagship and select retail partners. Munich is our only physical home for now.
